The Chapel Window Project
Celebrating a Centenary
Join the Woodford House Old Girls' Association (WHOGA) in commemorating the centenary of our beloved chapel. As we prepare to mark the 100-year anniversary of the chapel's establishment on 28 July 2028, we embark on a special fundraising project to honour this milestone.
The Focus
This fundraising campaign was launched in September 2023 and is focused on designing and installing a lancet window. It is one of the last lancets in full view that has the original leaded light glass.
This lancet window, in its unadorned state reflects a blank canvas, symbolising the endless possibilities of the past, present, and future.
We invite you to be a part of its transformation into an awe-inspiring masterpiece, to match the beauty of the neighbouring windows.
The lancet window in question is situated on the left-hand side of the aisle. (Pictured below).
Cost and Timeframe
Cost for this project are estimated to be $150,000.
We aim to raise funds for this campaign over a period of five years and we will involve our Woodford House community as much as we are able.
A Legacy that lasts a Lifetime
By supporting this fundraising campaign, you become an integral part of history, leaving a lasting legacy for generations of students to come.
Help us as we transform the lancet into a symbol of unity, pride, and lasting beauty.
Old Girl Input
